David Coorey B.Sc Dip.M FCIM FInstSMM

David Coorey started off in Commercial Banking, where he worked for three years in Commercial Loan Applications before gaining a Bachelor of Science degree.

After working in sales for several years, David took his Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at Napier University in Edinburgh and in 1998 was in the first intake to receive Chartered Status.

David has worked in a variety of settings, as Northern European Marketing Manager, Business Manager and Sales and Marketing Director and Managing Director across complex and diverse businesses.

In 2004 David became a member of the Institute of Directors and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He was an advisor on the National workforce Planning group of the National Service Framework for Renal and is a trained Mentor from the IMD International Business School in Lausanne Switzerland.  As well as running a busy consultancy, he also sits as a Non Executive Director in the NHS North West and is a mentor for the NHS North West Mentor Scheme.

In 2005 David ran the New York Marathon in 4 hrs 59 min, helping to raise over £10, 000 for charity. When he's not running 37point5 he likes to cycle the hills of Derbyshire and Cheshire and ski.
